Second time running this for me, and a few thousand more people running it this time around. In places on the course it bottle necked quite badly , this was due to the sheer volume of runners, at times I was walking as it was so congested. The price could be cheaper, nice medal tshirt and goody bag, I guess as it’s the prestigious half marathon to run you have to go with the price of entry. It wouldn’t hinder me from running it again, as I love running up north. Support was second to none, and the finish straight is great.
