← Manchester Half Marathon
Really enjoyed this race, despite the weather! Extremely well organised, logistically very straight forward to get to, especially on public transport. No being crammed into tram carriages. Race support was pretty good, locals came out despite the almost torrential rain! Very grateful for the support. Generally nice Manchester scenes, very typical. Run to Sale and back with some sights of Stretford and Trafford. Also fast and flat, many achieved PBs. Water stops were complete with energy gels and toilets at very regular intervals throughout the route. Race very well signposted and easy to follow! Nice alcohol free beer at the end, perhaps could have done with a bag of crisps to go with it :D I can definitely say I will do this again.
