Took part in this race for the first time it's a trial run starting and finishing outside the Battle Abbey It was absolutely freezing day had to collect number on the day on the street outside no toilets that I could see or refreshments to start the day. The ground was rock hard due to the freezing conditions and very uneven was very tricky not too twist your ankle in various parts of the race It is a two loop race water stations were adequate no real crowd support but very nice scenery and was nice to run through the grounds of the Abbey Must admit I was very disappointed with the medal seemed very cheaply made with a tatty bit of ribbon. Overall I wouldn't do this race again
