← Salisbury Half Marathon
I completed this race as art of the Wiltshire Road Race League. I had never done it before but I would definitely consider doing it again as it was so slick and well organised. Race numbers are posted out to your home so there was no need to queue to register and the race briefing at the beginning was very clear and thorough. The route is a flat, 2 lap course that passes back through the city centre so there are loads of crowds and shoppers to cheer you on as you pass. The only part that I didn't like, was having to run around a field at the end to get to the finish line as my legs were dead! However, finishing in the shadow of the catherdal was quite special. The medal and t-shirt at the end were of a good quality and Heart FM were around to offer lots of encouragement too.
