← Windsor & Eton Brewery Runfest
This was my first 10k race and I was horribly disappointed to find ithe course was only 9k, this meant that my partner who had made a special effort to support me arrived at the finish line 30 seconds after I did, because I finished 7 min earlier than expected. Pros: scenery and marshals were excellent, registration was quick and easy, very quick results text, post race beers were very welcome Cons: parking was very limited and quite expensive, 10k course was far too short, water station was at 7k, not 5k advertised, finish line not very obvious, huge queues for food and drink, food was not the pulled pork sandwich advertised.
