This is a great race to add some hill training to your main goal. The race was a community event and was extremely well organised. The race village was in the local park and bib collection and the baggage area were manned by volunteers from their local hospice. The start line was just outside the park and in the finish line was inside the park. The refreshment stations were well stocked with water. The marshals and local residents were very supportive along the entire course and the course itself was well marked. This race does not allow in-ear earphones but bone conduction earphones are allowed. I'd definitely recommend running this race if you're looking for a challenging Autumn half marathon or to include some hill work into your training plan.
