← Hever Castle - Swim Series
This was a great swim and with a few tweaks would have rated it outstanding in all areas. The negative (was the first one so may improve) there were 3 different distances and it was not clear that we would be waiting for all swimmers from each distance to come back before setting next wave off. I was in middle wave so had a short wait, the mile swimmers must've been frozen. Wouldn't have been a problem if had known as would have brought drink and something warmer whilst waiting. The benefit was each wave had a lot of safety cover so assume that is why did it and this can only be a bonus as visibility was quite poor due to weather. Safety cover could not have been better. Was fab to have a band playing and event was super friendly and welcoming. Would return and recommend to others
