My 1st time running HULL MARATHON and it was really enjoyable. Not just the race but the weekend as a whole. Plenty going on at the expo with several guest speakers & stalls. Race day itself saw various distances including Full Marathon, Half Marathon & relay option (2 & 4 persons). I ran full marathon. The course is fast but not flat. If you tackle the hills correctly the opportunity is there to get a good time. The highlight for me was the out & back along the Humber Bridge. Views are breathtaking! Nice finish in KCOM Stadium. Decent quality tech shirt & great medal for all finishers. Olympic runner Jo Pavey presented me with my medal which was a bonus! Special shout out to the marshalls got their support & hard work. These people are just wonderful! Also a big THANK YOU to the Hull public who and out in good numbers to offer generous & enthusiastic support. I’m already planning on doing this one again. Thanks to organisers for a fab event.
