← Shine Night Walk - London
Took on the Shine Nightwalk in honour of my Grandma who sadly lost her battle with Cancer in 2017. Walking side by side with my wife, Amira it was so inspirational and emotional to hear of everyone's reasons as to why they were taking on the challenge of walking a marathon around London starting at 9.20pm. The weather wasnt great but that didnt dampen (excuse the pun) the atmosphere as we ploughed on through the pain. The course was well signposted and the croweds weren't large (to be expected given the time of day) however there was a real sense of togetherness and it was great to take in some of London#s finest landmarks. Overall a great occasion and I'm pleased to say our experience has already inspired my parents to take on the challenge in 2019.
