← MK Marathon Weekend
Although I live local to Milton Keynes (in Leighton Buzzard) the course ran through areas I had not seen and showed how varied, interesting and pretty Milton Keynes is in places. The start of the race along the main roads up to the shoppping area are more familiar to me but this was also good as it allowed for plenty of space and spectators.
I thought the race was well organised with plenty of support and the stadium finish really great. The luggage area organised by the scouts worked well.
Traffic around the site at the end of the race was congested, Im not sure if something could be done about this next time - felt like roads were simply closed with no obvious diversions/plans to alleviate traffic.
