← Hever Castle - Run Series
A very wet and muddy day! My first track half marathon and was definitely a tough one. With a few days of rain leading up to the event there was much of the off road part of the course that was very muddy and slippery, with a few people going over. Was a shame with the rain that couldn't really appreciate the scenery either but everyone was in good spirits, both runners, marshals and the few brave spectators. Event was well organised, plenty of sign posts and good race village. My disabled brother came to watch and the path from the car park to the circuit was completely unsuitable for a wheel chair, even if it had been dry it would have been a struggle.
