← UTS Hoylake 10k
Nice local 10k, so seemed worthwhile entering for just £12. Really friendly atmosphere. Found out about it via friend on Facebook and entered. Could have done with a bit more info on the confirmation email such as what time you could register from/if bibs would be sent out etc. Luckily I went on the organisers facebook page so that i could find out the finer details bit for some getting the info in the email would have been easier. Water provided at about 2.4 mile and 3.5 mile which was nice and bowls of sweets avail too! Headwind on the return leg wasn't the easiest however I still got a pb so pleased with that.
Hi Jennifer, many thanks for the review, but more importantly congratulations for the PB! Really appreciate all feedback as this is the first year UTS has taken on the race and we wish to make changes going forward to ensure the experience before, during and after is of the highest level. I am not sure when you entered, but if you did so more than a week before the race then you should have received an email detailing the information you were expecting (registration time and how to collect bibs). We are aware that if you entered in the final week, then this information was not as clear and is something that will definitely change for next year. If you did enter more than a week before and did not receive the email, please do let us know as we can feed this back to the team.
