My first visit to run in Warrington at the English Half Marathon. Event was very well organised, marshaled and supported. Route was predominantly countryside with only the first mile and last couple in Warrington itself. Gradual climb during the first half of the race with that climb being lost between miles 7-10. Last bit was flat. There's a couple of turn around out & back sections which were the only bits of the course I wasn't fussed over. Also the last mile weaving through the side streets of Warrington seemed never ending (although didn't look too bad when viewed as a GPS trace). Course is fast although I wasn't!
