← Cardiff 5K - Race for Victory
This is such a great 5k evening race, starting around 7pm through Whitchurch, always on Bank holiday weekend too. A lot of fun, everyone stays afterwards in the local pubs for an after party. Its a great chance to see some of our amazing athletes in action as this race incorporates a welsh championship road race, so you're rubbing shoulders with Ieuan Thomas and Tom Marshall. Some of the route has traffic coming the other way but the marshalls are superb. Potential Issues for 2019, this race is on the same day as Newport Marathon and St. Illtyds 50k ultra, so it'll be a battle of the welsh races! No medal but always a nice Tshirt which you can pick up the day before the race.
