← Asics London 10K (formerly British 10K)

If you’d like to see my race video here’s the link https://youtu.be/3AvoPOKrzdk

Firstly in the high end of £40-£50 bracket this is an expensive 10K but you’re running on a closed road London Course past iconic landmarks like Piccadilly Circus, & Big Ben. Dame Kelly Holmes started the race, & the atmosphere was brilliant.

Its not just a local 10K round a local village so you are paying for the ‘big city’ experience.

i didn’t register online so left registration score blank, I was given a free place for the race to run with UN Women in the #Westminster100 team.

The race is a smooth operation but the start pens stretch out along a road that’s pretty long so expect some delay in starting if you’re in a higher lettered pen.

In terms of course uniqueness you get Piccadilly Circus which isn’t on some other London races but equally sections of it are the same as The London Marathon. With more races in London now I guess it’s hard to find a totally unique route.

Its worth doing for the experience which i’ve tried to capture in my video https://youtu.be/3AvoPOKrzdk
