← The Salomon Serpent Trail Races
stunning, beautiful scenery unfortunately saw more than I bargained for as I, and others, got lost due to lack of signs or missed signs. However, with exception to that one mistake this was such a great trail run through the South Downs way and I loved every single step of it. The aid stations were at brilliant distances and the quality of food and drink was good. Sometimes it felt a little lonely so I would suggest running with a friend or 2! The terrain was tricky...sand at some points, tree routes, stones, grass, several people took a few tumbles with disasterous consequences.
this was my first ever ultramarathon and I cannot wait to do it again next year, hopefully in cooler temperatures (was 30 degrees in the shade!)
