Check out my video of the Reigate Priory AC Summer 10K on YouTube: https://youtu.be/wyaBNA2ntrY
This is the second year that I’ve run this race organised by the local athletics club. It attracts a good range of runners and there is a nice friendly atmosphere.
It was hot last year when I ran it and this year’s race was probably just as hot again. It was good to see an extra water station being put on at the top of the hill. Yes, that’s right there is a hill, it’s not a flat course. The hill towards the end is the same one that forms part of the Run Reigate course, so this is a good opportunity to experience it so you know what to expect ahead of that event.
There wasn’t much local support which I suppose is only to be expected.
Whilst this isn’t a close road race, it’s mainly on country lanes and this year there was hardly any traffic on the roads during the race.
Overall, I really enjoyed the race again this year and will certainly be back.
But don't just take my word for it, have a look at my video and see for yourself: https://youtu.be/wyaBNA2ntrY
