Registration was very quick and easy, all completed online and race pack including number sent out to home address.

Plenty of parking spaces on the Royal London Insurance site, marshalls were brilliant directing traffic and very friendly.

Race HQ was good, with stalls for food, drink and running gear.

The course itself was a very basic 5k one way then 5k back along a nice, smooth, slightly undulating bypass with live bands and local supporters along the way. It would have been a perfect race for a PB if it wasn't so warm. It was VERY warm today! 

Organisers quickly realised that due to the heat there needed to be more water stations which were added days before the event, plenty of ambulances and first aid along the route, safety was obviously very important to Run North West.

Lovely medal, nice finishers T Shirt, and free treat at the end.

I could not fault anytjing about the race or how it was organised, everyone was so friendly and it was a brilliant morning. I enjoyed it so much that I have already signed up for the same race in 2019. Very much recommended.
