It was mildly irritating that they had decided to cancel the race only the morning it was actually supposed to have taken place whilst many other races had been cancelled days before. However, race organisers were extremely efficient at rearranging the event and offering alternatives to those who could not attend.
Parking was good and easy (£3 cost), plenty of pre-race loos (couldn’t tell you if there were more en route).
Organisation was excellent, water stations would have been adequate on a normal race day but could have done with more due to the extreme heat.
Beautiful country roads with manx airport planes flying overhead. Standard flat Cheshire.
Marshalls a plenty, good local support, many coming out to cheer on runners.
Medal and technical shirt quite basic, post race refuel food ok.
