← North Downs Run
This run starts and finishes at the HQ being Cascades Leisure Centre. The whole route was superby marshalled and in the woods marked with red and white tape for navigation. The tree stumps were highlighted orange for awareness. At 5 miles in were some steps which were very steep. The race passes through Great Wood and Shorne Woods and through lovely villages where the local residants were out supporting. There were ample water stations, sponge stations and people giving out jelly babies and orange slices. It is a challenging course and made extra tough in the heat. Great medal, t shirt and goody bag. Cake at the end and photos on their facebook page - good value for money. I want to do it again!
