← Shrewsbury Half Marathon
This was the first time I'd run the Shrewsbury Half Marathon and what a race it was.
Registration was easy, finding the place and parking was also simple enough. The race village had a good feeling about it and it was nice to see so many familiar faces.
The race itself is very hilly, so don't go PB hunting here! The route was very nice though and once into a rhythm it was nice running through the countryside.
The water stations were frequent and we were offered energy gels at one of them.
Finish area was lined with locals and the finish was a nice loop through the start area.
One thing that really sets this race apart is the organisation and the FREE race photos. Not only that but there were loads to chose from and they were of good quality.
I'll be back next year!
