← Pontefract 10K
This was my first time at this event. The race started early, at 08:30, which I liked as I was back home for just gone 10:00!
The route was hillier than expected but not too bad. It was a straight 3 mile out and back from the racecourse on a closed road so was very safe. It would've been nice if they could've taken in some of the racecourse as support was very thin on the ground.
For me, this would make a good training run in between other events, plus you get a tshirt and medal for it.
I would enter again but it won't be on the top of my 'must enter' races....
Overall, well organised, not too busy, few hills, friendly event.
