I did Race to the Tower over two days with my better half and friends. I was a bit worried to begin with, I had done a couple of marathons in the build up but didn’t know what to expect. I shouldn’t have worried it was amazing!

The weather was on the warm side but the feed stations were well equipped with loads of water and drinks available as well as all the food you could ever need. Marshals were fantastic. Medical help and portaloos were available at every pit stop. 

Base camp had everything you could need, the tents were all set up, toilets and showers available. The showers were lovely! There was a constant supply of food and tea and coffee as well as a bar. 

My only comments would be that one the second day the distance between pit stop 6 & 7 was 8.6 miles and this felt like forever me and my partner were both out of water by the time we reached number 7. Also we never received our finisher T-shirt which was a disappointment but didn’t ruin my experience.

At the finish the atmosphere was fantastic, the two men on the mic were just brilliant and kept everyone entertained. Well done! 

I would 100% recommend Race to the Tower.
