First time running this event and as a pacer with the legend pacer Paul Addicott. The race has a fantastic carnival atmosphere and is well supported by the people of Liverpool. Being a Mancunian it wasn't very nice to have to run round Evertons ground and through Liverpools ground however we covered pretty much the whole City and the route was well supported. There are a couple of slight hills however it's mainly flat. The last 3 miles down the side of the water can be tough, however, the crowds are great and help you on your way.  We had a great group in the 4hr funbus making the most of the atmosphere and at the end the free beer token was welcome. Parking for the event is easy and quite reasonable and parking opposite the liver building helped with at quick getaway. Thoroughly recommend this as a half andi full marathon and can't wait to pace again next year. Happy running guys!!
