← Leeds Half Marathon

This is my home city race so entering was an easy choice.

Organisers, RunForAll certainly know how to put on a race.

This was another good example.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish so it’s genuinely hard to pick any faults

The course has a couple of ‘bumps’ to tackle. The trot up Stonegate Road can be a drag but it also has some nice, fast down hill sections.

Race finishes in city centre.

Overall, the route probably doesn’t do Leeds justice but the magnificent crowd support is excellent

Finishers are also well looked after.

They recieve a solid medal, decent goodie bag, tech shirt, massage and medal engraving.

There’s also the fantastic atmosphere you’d expect from a big city race. Overall, it’s excellent value.

It’s a race I will always do.
