Well.. where do I start, despite the brutal heat and this being my first ever marathon I absolutely had the best day ever... everyone was so welcoming right from the moment you got there, you instantly got the “im going to do something amazing” buzz.. 

The process of the the whole day was phenomenal and so well executed it put me right at ease!! The marshals were FANTASTIC and so we’re the local community on what was a challenging day... 

The course was beautiful (although I was slightly jealous of the water park around the lake when I was super hot) but there was always something to look at... 

I especially loved the stadium finish it made me feel really important running around the field with everyone’s eyes on me!! 

Medals are outstanding I only which the marathon medal was bigger 

overall no complaints and can’t wait to do it all over again... 

Can’t believe I can call myself a marathoner
