← MK Marathon Weekend
This year was my 4th time doing the half marathon. It is an extremely well organised event. This year was a very hot day, tough conditions for runners but with the added bonus that this brought out the crowds to support. The weather updates were very well briefed prior to race day. The route takes you on the roads of MK for the first 5/6 miles then through some of MKs more scenic tree lined areas before finishing in the football stadium. Baggage drop was excellent. Only annoyance was the stairs that needed navigating to collect your medal (I heard its because the arena that is usually used was booked for another event)
