← MK Marathon Weekend
This was my first time at Milton Keynes Marathon, and due to the hot weather in 2018 I knew any chance of a reasonable time was gone, so decided to enjoy the route and the day out.
The route itself is brilliant with what I think is a nice mix of city streets and running through parks - it is surprisingly picturesque. And of course the stadium finish was brilliant too.
The local support was fantastic, with spectators handing out oranges, Mr Freezes, sweets and some supplying massive buckets of water to dip caps in to to cool down.
The medal was nice, as was the T Shirt and I'd recommend this event, and I'll return to run it again.
