I entered this only a few days before mainly because I saw somebody from twitter I follow was entering and I had nothing else on so thought, 'why not'!

Online entering is very simple and you are kept up to date with all that you need to do for race day.

Tatton Park is well sign posted and there were marshalls to direct you to the parking area where you can go and collect your number. Before the race there is a little exercise to warm up and then they call you forward into the starting pen with your predicted finishing time, which was very nice as I found that I virtually passed nobody on the course as nobody started further forward than they should.

The race started and it was basically a little tour of the estates grounds on a there and back course, one long hill but nothing that dramatic. One water station at 5k which is more that enough even though it was avery hot day.

At the end there was a nice medal, banana and flap jack to recover with.

All in all a very nice race that I will be back for and hopefully next time a little cooler.
