← Brighton Marathon

I arrived on the Saturday to pick up my number.  All staff in the race village who took care of all the information i needed for the Sunday . On the Sunday i got to the to the park where the start line was.It took 20 minutes to walk from the sea . Once there you feel you can talk to anyone as it had a great atmosphere. You  get called to the start with plenty of time....Once off you have a gentle hill to start as you head towards the town which is pretty flat.At 5 ish miles you head along the coast run out of Brighton with more small hills but not to bad. You return to Brighton and head west though the main roads where you see so much of the grand buildings. After getting to the power station you head back one last time . With 3miles to go to right on the sea front. You see the old pier with the main one just before the finish line. All along the last 4 or 5 miles there people cheering you  on and when you get champ in both legs everyone say you can do . This help me so much. The feeling of seeing the finish line and crossing it for the first time was very emotional. It was a shame for me i went on my own but once i got my medal and all the congratulations and well dones was amazing.  I ran for a charity so i went to there tent and had more high five food and Drinks. I was made very welcome. I definitely would  like to run Brighton again so i can take more in. It was abit of a blur due to me loveing ever minute of it. Maybe not the funny walk the next day.
