← Stamford Striders St Valentines 30K
This was my first time doing this local race, having marshalled it for a couple of years. I knew a bit about what was in store, but this is a hilly route, but what goes up must come down, so the down hills make the up worth it! This is not on closed roads but they are quiet roads and I had no issue with the traffic.
Ease to park the car on site, I am local so picked up the race pack the day before. A lovely long sleeve T - shirt was in there,along with a cholocate heart. At the end we received a medal, some love hearts, water and a Chia seed pudding!
Each K has a quote on which really keeps you going and makes you smile, i really enjoyed getting to these and reading them. Well manned water stations each 5K.
Dont let the hills put you off, this is a fab race
