← Mersey Tunnel 10K
My third time doing this 10k. I drive through the tunnel everyday and it’s a nice novelty to run through it!
Easy to get to via train or car. Lots of toilets at the start and a nice race atmosphere. I didn’t use the baggage bus but was with someone who did and it was hassle free.
Bit busy at the start and took a mile or 2 to spread out. Big climb out of the tunnel (but I enjoy a good hill) then flat for the second half of the race along New Brighton prom.
2 water stations,lots of marshals/ medics and loads of local support.
