What the Woodley 10K lacks in natural attractions it makes up for in great organisation and a slick race.
Number pickup and bag drop were very easy (although not quite as advertised due to issues with Coronation Hall), you could actually hear the briefing which isn’t that common and it started dead on time. Start and finish is where Woodley parkrun is, and a lot of those regulars were marshals which made for a good atmosphere on the course, as there wasn’t a lot of local support. That is mainly just as it’s pavements around unexotic Woodley adjoining various A roads, but makes for a flat and quick route.
Good medal, great support at the finish and pacers made for a very recommendable race
