Fylde Coast Events know how to put on a good race. This was another good example. 

Stanley Park 10k takes place on Saturday & Sunday with the option of doing one, or both days. 

Registration was straight forward. 

Regular emails kept participants well informed. 

Race numbers were collection only and baggage was pretty basic but trouble-free. 

10k route saw runners do lap of a runnning track before completing a 2x lap course on mostly solid paths, in beautiful surroundings included park land & a trot around a lake. 

All very nice & picturesque. 

Race finished with another lap of the running track. 

Local support was quite decent with spectators on various parts of the course and at the running track. 

Marshal sypport was excellent as always. 

Water stations were on 2 parts of each lap - that’s 4 in total. They contained bottled water only which is perfectly ok for a 10k race. 

Funishers recieved a solid medal, banana, water & a small bar of chocolate. 

They also had a box of event t-shirts from previous Fylde Coast events at the finish which they were giving away free of charge. 

In summary - This was another great Fylde Coast event. 

Flat course, good atmosphere, superb value, nice medal & a fun event.
