Really desperately needs road closures. having to stop so the marshals can let cars/buses get down side roads is just stupid.
Running on a pavement wide enough for only 2 people for 13 miles leads to a very boring, slow race where you are often frustrated by having to wait to get past people or running with someone elses elbows jabbing you as they try to squeeze past.
The marshals are amazing though, they were offering lots of smiles and encouragement. sort out the roads and more people would want to do it, as it is i would never recommend this race to anyone i know.
