This was my 1st 10K race in London and wow, it was awesome! I loved every second, from the minute I got on the train in Milton Keynes early on the Sunday morning to find it full of runners heading to London for the 10k.

Walking out of Charing Cross tube station and being hit with a wave of people all excited about the run!

Heading to the start i passed the 100's of portaloos and the queue was very small so no  panicking about needing the toilet!

The temp was around 1 degree so rather cold but was nice to see Nuffield Health giving out free hats which kept me warm till the race started, The warm up team were great and kept everybody moving before it was my time to head to the start line.

The start was perfect and on time, no waiting around, the 10K went very fast which im putting down to mountains of volunteers who cheered every person who ran past them.

Special mention to the Choir, Steel Drum players, Polar bears and penguins who wants a "high 5" every time you passed one.

Overall this was an excellent race and very well organised.

I will 100% be back next year
