← ATW Watford Half Marathon

I've run this race twice before and once again, it didn't fail to disappoint. The Watford Half has a tradition of being a very well-organising and respected event within the running community. One of the first 'significant' halfs of the year, it is HQ'd and started/finished in Cassiobury park, and meanders through the Herfordshire countryside via a number of challenging hills and undulations. Whilst it's one of the tougher courses on the calendar, it is always well attended and supported by many of local running clubs in the South East, whilst also drawing runners from all over the UK. Having grown-up in the Watford area, I always come back to this race each year as it is a great barmometer for fitness after the Christmas and New Year festivities! Not a PB course, but highly recommneded and I will, no doubt, be back again next year!
