as a girl from southport now living down south it's always great to have an excuse to go home. this was my fifth time doing it and when though I wasn't match fit I wouldn't have missed it.
the course runs along the seafront round the ageing pier and fun fair and is flat and wide. it you want a PB it's a cracking course for it ..but it's also suoer welcoming to slower runners. there prizes for fancy dress add to the atmosphere as do the bands along the route.
