← Tysoe Windmill 10K

This was my very ambitious first 10k race - was my toughest too! I have to say thoough, as tough as I found it, it was one of my favourites. I will be doing ot again and I have recommended it to my running friends.

Described as undulating when what they really mean is very very hilly! Big hills and small hills, it had them all. My goodness it was worth it though!

Everything about the race was brilliant from the start to the finish. The marshals were super friendly and supportive all the way round. The views, wow there were occasions when I just had to stop and appreciate the beauty of the day. It was a wonderfully warm day with clear skies.. So warm in fact that they had out extra water stations - good thinking and very welcome!

The fellow runners were really supportive as they all passed me by up the hills. To be honest, the stunning scenery all around me made the run much less of a slog than it could have been.

Hubby was happy waiting too as they had a cafe selling bacon sarnies and cake so they catered for the supporters too!

All in all this was a fab race and I would recommend that everyone give it a go - you will not regret it!
