What can I say? Small field of runners, and lots and lots of mud, sticky shoe/sock/trouser eating mud.
Excellent feed stations and friendly marshals when found. Could have done with better marking, 1 piece of red and white tape isn't enough on important turns. People managed to miss the most important turn, me included, and so instead of 28.1 miles managed to run 32 miles.....I say run, over 3/4 of the course was ankle deep strength sapping mud and running was impossible.
If you're a fast runner then it's a good trail run after heavy rain, if you're a back of pack person, don't bother
