What a terrific event. The course takes in the surrounding fields of Butlers Lands Farm, the Roman Walls at Silchester (did anyone else see the alpacas?) and a ford crossing. The terrain was especially wet and muddy this year and the last stretch towards the finish line was an epic struggle.
This was great fun, well organised and as it was a sell out in 2017, I'll be sure to get my place confirmed for 2018 when entries open.
