..... so it has to be good and Ironman Emeila-Romagna did not disappoint.
A superb verue helped by choosing a hotel just 50 years from Transition.
Easy to register and rack and of course the full Ironman experience. The course was fantastic - amazing swim in the sea that was lovely and warm, a super fast flat bike with 2 hills only (the same one) and a 4 lap of the town marathon.
Personally it was an amazing experience and I would definatley recommend it.
Special mention also for RaceForce who did a fantastic job of taking my bike and looking after us all weekend. They even arranged a personal post race catch up with Lucy Goassage for us! Whats not to like!
Only negative was the pasta at the pasta party (this is Italy!) and of course IM branded events are expensive.
But soooo worth it!
