This is a really nice 10 mile race providing the weather is good to you. The first and last two miles are along the Weymouth sea front from the pavilion to Bowleaze and back (if the wind or rain are in the wrong direction I imagine this would be tough!). In between the sea front legs there are two laps of a loop over Bowleaze causeway, through a holiday park and round Preston. This is fairly hilly and the ascent of Bowleaze causeway the second time round is challenging!
This is a lovely, cheap, low key but very well organised 10 miler. The hills of the Bowleaze loop probably prevent it from being a good PB chasing course, but it is well worth running. No medal the year I ran it, but I did get a good quality free t-shirt which I still wear
