This was my 2nd Snowdonia Marathon and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Its got to be on every marathon runners ‘to do’ list!

Registration is straight forward. You collect your number, t shirt, programme and a complimentary gel.

The atmosphere on race morning is really friendly, in fact the whole event is really friendly!

The course itself is stunning. Mainly road, a few miles off road and 3 lovely hills to climb! 

Support along the course is fantastic especially at Beddgelert. Gave me goosebumps going through there. Was like a scene from Tour De France with the crowd very close to you on either side of the road! The finish on Llanberis High Street also gives you goosebumps. Big crowds awaits you with people shouting your name for the final sprint. 

Foil blanket, slate coaster, hot drink and biscuits at the finish! What more could you ask for!

I’ve only run 4 marathons (2 at Snowdonia) but this must be one of the best out there!
