← McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K
Scenic route by the sea side and around the headland. 2017 was the first time I've run this race. Logistics were good and start line was easy to get to. All aided by land scape surrounding the start giving plenty of vantage points for spectators. Good pre race facilities at the Spa. Route is super flat. Marshalls in all the right places. Whilst water perhaps isn't needed for many at a 10k in October, it was available. I prefer bottles to cups and both were available.
Around the headland was a bit breezy which helped give the race more character. The finish line was clearly visible giving that all important sprint to the line. Nice medal, Tech T shirt & a banana and no bag of flyers to throw away. Great value for money & a super day out. I'd recommend.
