Matt Davies (The race organisor) is sensational. The sheer effort put into the race for the runners, by the organisors is nothing short of incredible. The route is beautiful (Sefton Park), the crowds are huge (support) and the drinks stations are plentiful. I was so close to a PB (12 seconds off) that it made me physically sick with the heat but as soon as it was over it was very easy to get back into the swing of the post race fun at the park.
The medal is wonderful and very cleverly designed. I will be racing again next year for sure.
